    Haryana is one of the wealthiest states in India with the third highest per capita income in the country at Rupees 132,089 (US$ 2,100) in the year 2014. The state of Haryana is further divided into 6 parts for administrative purposes: Ambala, Rohtak, Gurugram, Hisar, Karnal, and Faridabad. In the year 2013, it was recorded that Gurugram in Haryana had the highest rate of literacy at 86.30%. Naturally, it is bound to attract, many students as well. There are various notable institutions in Haryana that offer class apart B.Tech courses. Some of them are mentioned below:

    Classification of B.Tech colleges in Haryana :

     There are various universities and colleges functioning in Haryana, some have private ownership, some are government funded. Some private B.Tech colleges are: BML Munjal University, Aravali college of Engineering and Technology, BM Institute of Engineering and Technology, etc. Names of some government aided colleges are: Kurukshetra institute of Technology and Management, National Power Training Institute, and many more.

    There are a wide array of trades offered at these colleges, like: B.Tech in civil engineering, B.Tech in B.Tech in Power system engineering, B.Tech in computer science and electronics, B.Tech in automobile engineering, B.Tech in Chemical engineering.

     Eligibility criteria and selection procedure for B.Tech colleges in Haryana :

     The criteria of eligibility and selection differs from college to college. SRM and SGT University requires students to have at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. BML Munjal University asks that candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured 70% marks in aggregate.

    Many universities and institutes select the students who have valid ranks in exams like: JEE Mains, GATE. Whereas some conduct segregated university exams as well, like SRMJEE, Amity JEE, and more. Students are advised to do in-depth research on the selection procedure of the B.Tech College they wish to register in Haryana.

    Fees and Scholarships Given by B.Tech colleges in Haryana :

    Fee structures always vary, depending upon the candidate’s choice of trade, the duration of the course and the ownership of the college, etc. A government college like Kurukshetra institute of Technology and Management will around INR 2.5 lakhs for its B.Tech course. Private college like BML Munjal will cost around INR 6 to 8 lakhs for B.Tech. BML Munjal University also offers scholarships to its meritorious students based upon their ranks in the JEE Mains exam (to ranks 25000 to 75000) and percentage of 10+2.
