Admission process for the selection Btech colleges in Kerala consist Joint entrance examination for IIT’s and NIT’s and Kerala engineering agriculture and medical examination for the colleges affiliated to A PJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
Eligibility criteria for IIT Indore is minimum 75% marks in 12th Standard, for SC/ST minimum 65% in 12th Standard. Students can attempt the exam only twice in consecutive years. Students passed +2 on or before 2015 are not eligible to apply.
Eligibility criteria for KEAM, applicants should be 17 years of age by December 31, 2017. The candidates must have passed senior secondary from a recognized institute in Kerala. Applicant must have 50% marks in Mathematics and an aggregate 50% marks in physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For admission in private Btech colleges in Kerala the candidate must have 45% of aggregate in physics, chemistry and Mathematics.
For different college the fees in different. For the government Colleges the fees for B. Tech is comparatively low than private colleges for IIT’s fees is high but IIT grant number of scholarship to its students funded by government and corporates.
