Cochin University of Science and technology Exam 2018(CUSAT)

Cochin University of Science and technology (CUSAT) 2018 is a government funded autonomous University in Kochi, Kerala. Established in 1971, it boasts of three campuses 1 in Kuttanad, and the other two in Kochi. University offers degrees in Engineering and Science subjects at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. CUSAT was rated amongst the best university in the world as per times higher education world University ranking in 2016-17. Candidates can get admission in UG, PG and Ph.D. programs of University through common admission test(CAT), departmental admission test.

Cochin University of Science & Technology, Kerala conducts the Common Admission Test (CAT) and some other entrance tests for admission in various engineering courses offered by CUSAT University. Candidates can get admission in CUSAT University and its three affiliated campuses in various degree/diploma and certificate engineering courses through the entrance tests. CUSAT Application Form 2018 will be available from the second week of February 2018.

  • CUSAT 2018 Exam for B.Tech & PG courses by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is a government-owned autonomous university.
  • CUSAT University conducts Common Admission Test (CAT), Lateral Entry Test (LET) and Departmental Admission Test (DAT) every year.

CUSAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • All Indian/Foreign/PIO candidates can apply.
  • Those candidates belong to the Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) and Kerala Scheduled Cast (KSC) communities are eligible only if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination except for Marine Engineering.
  • For all UG programs (except Marine Engineering), the minimum eligibility for SEBC candidates with Non-Creamy Layer Status of Kerala State for admission to B.Tech program is 45% for Mathematics and 45% for PCM (physics, Chemistry Mathematics) put together in the qualifying examination.
  • In case of PG Programmes, SEBC-NCL candidates of Kerala state are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination unless otherwise specified.
  • Candidates with a valid GATE score card are eligible for 5% relaxation in the qualifying examination marks for M.Tech Programmes.

Eligibility for B.Tech:

  • Candidates must pass the Intermediate/equivalent from any recognized board.
  • For B.Tech Programmes (except Marine Engineering), candidates must have obtained 50% marks in Mathematics individually and 50 % marks together in PCM subjects.

Eligibility for M.Tech:

  • Candidates must hold a B.Tech, or BE  degree in the relevant field from any recognized university.
  • Candidates should have obtained 60% marks in the qualifying exam.

CUSAT Exam Application Process

Candidates can get the details for the CUSAT Common Admission Test 2018 application form from the website of the University. Aspirants can fill the CUSAT 2018 application form through online mode only. Applicants are firstly required to complete the registration process, thereafter they can proceed towards filling details in the application form. They need to provide all the required information and should upload the scanned images. The applicants have to also pay the application fee. Applicants must take the printout of the confirmation page. 

  • The CUSAT 2018 Application Form was provided through the online process through the website.
  • The online registration was started from 8th February 2018.
  • Candidates can complete their application & make fee payment 2018.
  • After registration takes the confirmation page for the future use.
