DSAT stands for Dayananda Sagar University Admission Test. This university is located in Bangalore and it invites the applications for admissions from candidates all across the country to Dayananda Sagar Admission Test (DSAT) for the academic year in which the entrance exam is held.
This entrance exam is held in order to help the candidates to get admitted into the courses which are offered by this university and this exam is quite an important one since it is the only way a candidate/applicant has to get admitted into this university.

DSAT 2018 Exam Dates
DSAT conducts entrance exams every year, for its UG and PG courses in Engineering. The process each year begins in the month of April and goes till the declaration of result in June. In 2018 the process will be started started in the 1st week of April with registrations which will last till 24th june.Details of the important dates are as following.

Dayanand Sagar University conducts the entrance exam for both UG and PG courses in Engineering.
For taking admission into Undergraduate course in Engineering (B.Tech) a candidate should have passed in PUC / CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks and the same amount has been reduced down to just 40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Electronics and English as a compulsory subject.
For Post graduate courses (M.Tech) a candidate should pass in B.E/B.Tech examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in relevant field.
DSAT exam accepts application through online mode only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted for DSAT. The candidate needs to visit the university website http://www.dsu.edu.in. Before proceeding to filling up the Online Application, the applicants should kept ready scanned image of their (a) Photograph and (b) Signature. These documents will be required for uploading and submission of your Online Application. A valid E-mail and Mobile Number is mandatory for the registration of your Online Application. This E-Mail and Mobile number should be kept active till the declaration of results. DSU will send important information with regard to your application and examination on this registered E-Mail/Mobile number. After receiving your User ID and Password on mail you will not be able to edit certain fields of the Online Application. Applicants are hence requested to fill in the online application form with the utmost care as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained.
The fee for the exam may be flexible from year to year. The registration fee can be done via online as well as offline mode. The payment can be done online using debit/credit card or through net banking option. If the candidate has chosen the payment mode through Demand Draft then the filled application form along with DD must reach the university before the last date of application in the following address.
