Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2018 will be conducted by Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses offered by institutes in the state. The exam is conducted once in a year. JKCET 2018 will be held in pen based test mode on April 22.
JK CET is a yearly exam conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Government for aspirants who are seeking admission into professional courses such as engineering medical extra. JK CET exam is held only for the resident students of Jammu and Kashmir. No candidate from other state is eligible to give the exam. The application fee for JK CET 2018 is 800 rupees which can be played offline as well as online.

Candidates applying for JKCET 2018 must be a permanent citizen of J&K state. The minimum qualification should be 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates have to score the minimum 50% marks (40% for the reserved category candidates). For engineering courses, candidates have to qualify their 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM & English.candidate’s age should be 17 years completed on or before 31st December 2018.
JKCET 2018 Application Form will be issued through online mode only. The candidates will get the application form from the 1st February 2018 till the 28th February 2018. Candidates need to register first for the application process. After successful registration candidates need to fill the application form providing all the required information. Candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature & thumb impression at the time of filing the application form in a JPG/JPEG Format. Candidates also have to pay the application fee to complete the application procedure. After successfully filling the application form, candidates should take a printout and keep safe for further use.
Candidates applying for JKCET 2018 will have to pay Rs. 800/- as an application fee which is same for all categories. Candidates can make payment through online or offline mode. The online payment can be done through the HDFC integrated payment gateway with any national credit/debit card/netbanking. The offline payment can be made through bank Challan from any branch of HDFC bank & J & K bank.
