LEET is a different kind of Entrance Exam which is conducted to ascertain the levels of students who seek Lateral Entry to the 2nd year of technical education directly. The scores of this exam act as the qualifying parameter to enter into the 2nd year of B.Tech and B.E courses conducted in both the Government colleges as well as Private Colleges in Haryana. An entry into the 2nd year of studies means direct admission to the 3rd semester.

State Technical Education Society of various states of all over India conducts Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) for admissions into B.E. / B.Tech courses. The students, who qualify the LEET exam, get admitted in different government and private technical Engineering    institutes in the respective states.

Document Verification

  • Appliers should have all supported certificates with 5 sets of Photocopies attested / self-attested as described below:

LEET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are applying for the exam need to fulfill certain eligibility  criteria as per the level of course like following:

For B.E. / B. Tech Courses:

  • Candidates must have possess diploma in Engineering / Technology or its equivalent degree with aggregate of at least 60% marks from recognized State Board / university / institution of Technical Education.
  • Candidates who have B.Sc. Degree or diploma in Architecture Engineering from a recognized University affiliated by UGC and have completed intermediate with mathematics as a subject are also considered for the exam.

For Diploma ENGG:

  • Candidates who have passed ITI, 10+2 (vocational), 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Math (PCM) or 12th class passed with NSQF level 4 they are willing for consideration in various Diploma Engineering courses on the basis of merit/ rank obtained in DET (L)- 2017 only and as per the compatibility of the courses.
  • Candidates must hold the 3 years engineering diploma or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with 50% marks in Mathematics as subjects of examination and also obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 level examination.
  • Candidates with 10+3 Diploma ( any stream) recognized by Central / State Governments with mathematics as a compulsory subject and obtained with 50% in aggregate marks.
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of Examination.

LEET Exam Application Process

After the commencement of the application LEET 2018 the candidates needs to register and fill the application process. The complete application procedure are as follows:

  • Step-1-Registration: Candidates need to first of all require to log on to official website and then has to fill basic details for registration and hit on register button for registration.
  • Step-2-Fill Application Form: After Registration candidates are required to login using application ID and password, after that fill the application form with all personal and academic details and select you desired course.
  • Step-3-Upload Photograph: Candidates need to upload their recent passport size Colored Photograph (JPG File Max. 50KB Size) and Specimen Signature (JPG File Max. 50KB Size) on online application form.
  • Step-4-Fee Payment: The accepted modes are net banking, credit cards as well as debit cards.
  • Step-5-Print Application Form: The candidates can recheck the filled detail once and submit for final submission of application form. The candidates should take the print out of the application form for future reference.

LEET 2018 Fee Details

The fee for the application form for LEET 2018 is INR 500/- for General candidates for reserved quota candidates, this stands at INR 200 as per the eligibility criteria.All candidates who have filled the application form online will have to pay the fees via any online mode of payment. The accepted modes are net banking, credit cards as well as debit cards. Payment to be made by offline mode the candidates needs to submit an e-challan in favor of the conducting body at the nearest branch of Axis Bank / Punjab National Bank.

  • State Quota 85% of the sanctioned intake
  • Haryana Open General Category (General) HOGC 50% of State Quota
  • Reserved Categories of Haryana 50% of State Quota
  • Scheduled Castes SC 20% of State Quota
  • Backward Classes (A) BCA 16% of State Quota
  • Backward Classes (B) BCB 11% of State Quota
  • Physically Handicapped PH 3% of State Quota
