REAP is the abbreviated form of Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process. REAP is state exam for admission undergraduate engineering courses in the colleges of Rajasthan. The REAP is conducted by the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan. Every engineering college affiliated to Board of Technical Education Rajasthan give admission to the students on the basis of counseling done by REAP exam.
Earlier the admission in the Btech courses in Rajasthan were given on the basis of the marks obtained in REPT exam, later it was discontinued and now it is compulsory for the students seeking admission in Rajasthan Engineering colleges to appear in REAP. REAP 2018 notification has not been announced yet but it is expected to be out by the month of May 2018. In this article we will cover all the details required to appear in REAP 2018.

What is REAP Entrance Exam :-
Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process popularly known as REAP is conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan. REAP 2018 is organized for admission to undergraduate programme like B.E./B.Tech & B.Arch courses offered by various Govt. aided and Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities). Candidates who are Rajasthan domicile and Kashmiri Migrants are eligible for registration in REAP.

For admission in Btech and BE courses in Rajasthan through REAP candidate must have minimum qualification to be eligible for it. Candidate must be minimum XII qualified or appearing from a recognized board Candidate must have minimum 45% marks in XII standard. For candidates from reserved category like SC/ST and OBS-non creamy layer minimum qualifying marks are 40%. The class XII of candidates must be recognised from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognised equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Application Process for REAP 2018 has not started yet but it is expected to start soon. Tentatively it can be assumed that REAP 2018 application process will start from the month of may 2018. Application process starts with the registration of the application. Candidate will have to register themselves on the official website. Fees for the registration is INR 700. After the registration Candidates login and ID will be generated. After this candidate can register themselves for the REAO 2018. While making the application candidates will fill their complete personal and education details. Along with this they will also mention their JEE ranking or the marks obtained in class XII and the college of their preference. Last step is the payment of advance fees of INR 10000 and the application will be submitted. Advance fees would be adjusted in the fees of the college granting the admission.
Fees for making application for REAP is INR 700. The fess can be submitted online via payment gateway using credit card, debit card and net banking. After this candidate can make the application for REAP. In the final step of REAP candidate will have to submit the advance fees of INR 10000 which will be adjusted in the fees of the admitting college.
